Hyde Studios Case Study • Weddings
Lisa and Adam chose Hyde Studios for an intimate civil ceremony surrounded by the people closest to them. The wedding moved naturally from arrival and family portraits into the ceremony, ring exchange, first kiss and newlywed photographs—all within Hyde’s characterful Wigan setting.

Deliverables
Ceremony • Guests • Portraits
Hyde’s ceremony space placed Lisa and Adam close to their guests, with soft window light, period architecture and greenery creating a warm backdrop without overwhelming the occasion.
The layout allowed the day to flow from welcoming the wedding party into the formal ceremony and portraits. That continuity matters for a smaller wedding: less time is lost moving between disconnected locations, leaving more room for the people and moments that make the day personal.
The image collection follows the shape of the wedding rather than repeating one kind of portrait. Wider frames establish the room, close details preserve the ceremony and relaxed group photographs record the people who shared the day.
01
Wide photographs show the complete room, guest seating and window light, preserving the atmosphere Lisa and Adam experienced.
02
The vows, rings, flowers and first kiss are photographed closely enough to keep the emotional moments clear without interrupting them.
03
Wedding-party and family portraits give the gallery breadth, while candid expressions prevent the day from feeling reduced to formal poses.
The finished collection covers the key stages of Lisa and Adam’s celebration and gives the couple both scene-setting images and smaller moments to return to.

The gallery begins outside with Lisa’s arrival and the wedding party, then moves into Hyde’s light-filled ceremony room. Close photographs of the vows and rings sit alongside wider views, so the setting never becomes more important than the people within it.
After the ceremony, the same architecture provides a natural backdrop for Lisa and Adam’s newlywed portraits. The result is a connected account of the day rather than a sequence of unrelated formal photographs.
Hyde announced its licence for civil ceremonies through Lisa and Adam’s wedding on 8 October 2024, describing the couple as the venue’s first wedding. The photographs in this archive match the ceremony and people shown in Hyde’s published Instagram post.
That makes this more than supporting wedding imagery: it is a documented example of how an intimate civil ceremony can look and flow inside Hyde Studios.
